Perfect Irrigation Warranty Guarantee

Warranty periods on irrigation components vary by part and manufacturer. Component warranties cover product failure caused by defect or improper installation. Proper installation for irrigation heads means that no part of the head should protrude above the surface of the soil when the head is retracted. Proper installation for pipe is no higher than 3” below grade. All warranty periods begin at the date of installation.

K-Rain rotors: 5 years
MP Heads (w/o nozzle): 5 years
MP Nozzles: 2 years

Valves: 5 years (w/o solenoid)
Wiring, fittings, and pipe: 10 years

Controller, Rain sensor, & Modules: 2 years

Coverage details

Rotors and MP heads (can only) – Obvious negligence such as mowing heads is not covered. Heads that fail to retract will first be cleaned; If it continues to get stuck it will be changed at no cost if still under warranty, but if it gets broken by a mower or other external force while stuck the replacement will not be covered. Damage caused by machinery and equipment to properly installed heads is also not covered. Product malfunction due to stripped gears or failed seals is covered by the full term of the warranty.

MP nozzles – Covers blocked or malfunctioning nozzles only, not external damage

Valves – Any malfunction or failure of the valve itself is covered, including from debris in the diaphragm. ONLY the valve itself is covered, not the solenoid on top. Solenoids are not covered by this warranty, the manufacturers don’t offer them (sorry)

Wiring – If a zone fails to activate and it’s determined to be the wiring that’s at fault, there will be no charge for the repair including if we have to run a new wire if it happens within the 10 year period, unless the failure was due to external damage by the homeowner or outside contractor.

Fittings – Any cracked or leaking fittings in the pipe will be replaced at no charge within 10 years of installation

Pipe – Any damage to pipe within 3” of the surface will be repaired at no charge and dug down to below 4” if it happens within the warranty period regardless of the cause. Split pipe from internal defects is also covered for 10 years. Externally caused damage to properly installed pipe is not covered.
